A wholly-owned subsidiary of SAAG Oil And Gas Sdn. Bhd. (SOG), SAAG Drilling And Well Services Sdn. Bhd. (SDWS) provides consultancy services to the O&G industry apart from being the only Malaysian firm to own/operate a conventional electric modular platform workover rig. Since its inception in 1988, SDWS has built an enviable record by specialising in workover and well services, consultancy and project management services, and technical training services.
SDWS with the SAAG Group of Companies has designed and built a conventional workover rig which meets the demanding specifications of major oil companies enabling the provision of full workover and well services. With its experience and technical know-how it is qualified to undertake related services such as coil tubing and other well services thus widening its service range in this niche area.

SDWS owns and operates a Conventional Electric Modular Platform Workover Rig "Telaga Usaha" which has completed three contracts for Unicol & EMEPMI.
"Telaga Usaha" was upgraded in 2004/2005 to meet the stringent operational and safety requirements of EMEPMI. The rig has been certified by ABS and MODUSPEC.
SDWS also provided technical support to two units of Diesel electric modular platform workover rigs - "Saag Saffron" and "Saag Pacific".
SDWS has been accredited with ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System by DNV. The scope of certification covers "Provision of Operations and Functions of Drilling and Well Services". The Company also received "Safety Excellence Recognition" from International Association of Drilling "Contractors (IADC) for 2006, 2007 and 2008. |
